[for testing]
The Valley Forge Chapter of Trout Unlimited would like to thank all of the volunteer organizations and specifically the volunteers themselves for the fine workday put forth on National Public Lands Day, September 29, 2007 in Valley Forge National Historical Park. The construction of the Emergency Streambank Restoration using a combination of hard armoring and tree revetment technique proceeded quite well with an all-volunteer crew. The project wound down at about 3:30 PM with the last of the trees and rock being placed.
Thank you to all the individuals who helped and thank you to the partnering organizations: Tredyffrin Township, Valley Forge Chapter of Trout Unlimited, Delaware Riverkeeper Network, Boy Scouts of America and Valley Forge National Historical Park (National Park Service).
Regards, Pete Goodman
